Corazon de la Familia

Corazon de la Familia Infant-Child Intervention Program is a home-based intervention program designed to provide:
  • family support
  • education
  • modeling
  • developmental guidance
  • mental health services
  • linkages to other community resources

Program staff has specialty training in working with families of infants, toddlers and preschoolers who are experiencing multiple problems and stressors. Particular program expertise exists in the provision of services to very young children with special health care needs.

In-home, relationship-based services are designed to meet family needs, with intensity and duration of services dependent upon levels of identified need.

Coordination of health care occurs with local clinics or the family pediatrician to assure a medical home for all children served. All services are designed to be child-centered, family focused and culturally appropriate.
