We have graduated 13 long-term fellows and 16 intermediate trainees in the 2006/2007 LEND Training Program. We had a terrific graduating class that was full of energy, extremely competent, and truly passionate in their goal to help children with developmental disabilities and their families. After their completed 2-week final oral evaluation period, each long-term trainee in the Policy Group presented a PowerPoint talk, developed as part of their Policy Track, on a piece of legislative policy in their area of interest to the LEND trainees and faculty - with great success. The LEND graduation ceremony took place on May 16th, 2007. The program included presentations of the Leadership Seminar and LEND certificates, followed by the Specialty Concentration Project presentation of the LEND fellows, with a luncheon afterward to honor the accomplishments of the LEND graduates.
